Bebe has recently opened its first ever Lifestyle Retail Store in New York City. The remake of the fashion store was part of the strategy of providing its loyal consumers with personalized experiences in an stylish yet modern hub designed satisfy or fulfill their needs.
Last year, the fashion retail shut 168 of its stores and laid off 700 employees which helped the company avoid bankruptcy after giving $35 million to Bluestar Alliance – a company known for brands such as Nanette Lepore and Catherine Malandrino. More so, this was part of its plan to further revamp the store and thus opening its Lifestyle Retail Store in New York City.
"Every area of our elegant, modern store space has been thoughtfully designed to bring shoppers an experience personalized to them at an accessible price, whether they're just hanging out, picking up an outfit for an evening or event, or looking for personalized tailoring, styling and service," Co-President of Women's Apparel, Contemporary Brands, at Global Brands Group Sandra Campos, told reports.
Some of the features of the new store include a beauty bar, a personalization Bar, a lounge and some on-Site Stylist.
The beauty bar will run with the beGlammed – Bebe’s partner and one of the top and on-demand beauty services in the country. This will help its consumers go through makeovers on-site.
The personalization bar will allow consumers to customize various items from jeans to jackets. They will be given choices such as Swarovski crystals, patches and embroideries.
Bebe Stores, Inc is a women's retail brand that was established in 1976. The brand develops and produces a line of women's apparel, accessories, and perfume fragrances, which it markets under the "bebe" or "Bebe Sport" or "Bebe Outlet" names.
A lounge will also be open for its customers and here they can engage with different interactive discussions as hosted by Bebe itself. Various educational events will also be offered and will be hosted by top names in the fashion industry.
Stylists will also be present in this new hub. Shoppers can consult them to further define their personal style and which wardrobe could work to match their preferences.
Furthermore, numerous iPads are installed to help consumers find and order specific items that may or may not be present in the store.
"We're thrilled to bring our loyal bebe community an exciting, modern shopping environment where they can engage with the bebe brand in a way that is convenient, highly-personalized and fun." Campos added.
Shares of Bebe Stores
Bebe’s trades have remained flat since the beginning of the month. In its latest indication, the recent trade of the retail store dropped -2.31% to -0.1500 points from the preceding session to end at 6.3500.
The Coppock curve of the fashion retail remained flat as well. While it is at 0.46 – a positive level, a buy would be much more advised since no bearish indication has been signaled.
