Belize-based regulating agency International Financial Services Commission of Belize has recently issued a statement regarding a forex brokerage group operating under a false license from the mentioned regulating agency. The business which operates under the name Floral Investment Ltd. claimed to be registered under the IFSC with their address at Belize City to which the agency is also based.
The International Financial Services Commission of Belize is known for the place’s lower requirements and less strict policies for licensing and incorporation regulation to which a lot of broker groups and companies have chosen to operate in. Because of the smaller number of requirements needed to secure a license to operate.
Floral Investment Ltd. which claims to be carrying an IFSC license on its website with a certification of their corporation is said to be false by the Belize regulating firm. According to the IFSC, the entity is neither incorporated nor licensed by the firm nor in the country so to say Floral Investment is not legally registered to conduct services regarding online trading, foreign exchange trading, or even consultation services in forex trading.
On the company’s website is a forged signature of the International Business Company’s deputy registrar Santiago Gonzalez on what supposedly is a certification of the corporation’s name. Aside from the forged IBC certificate is another signature forged this time supposedly signed by the director general of the IFSC Neri Matus to which all are forged according to the regulating agency.
Traders and Investors must always take note of factors such as the license, permit, and regulation of the investment firm or company dealing with online trading or forex trading services. One can check on the regulation or license being claimed by the company through the official websites of the regulating firms.
