One of the largest entertainments industries in the entire universe is now in the works to fully partner with Phoenix's Charlie Levy and his promotion business namely Stateside Presents for Levy's forthcoming downtown music locale The Van Buren. Live Nation Entertainment’s House of Blues Entertainment will add The Van Buren into its collection of assets through the nation for appointment of general performances.
“Live Nation brings its national experience to help continue growing the Phoenix music scene. This partnership is great news for the blossoming downtown scene, while cementing Phoenix as one of the country’s leading music markets. It’s awesome to see a music district taking form," Levy told reports. “The deep relationships Live Nation enjoys with the world’s biggest acts and tours will help ensure that music fans here can regularly enjoy the top performances by the best artists anywhere.”
This will just add to Live Nation’s massive portfolio of properties. Recently too, the entertainment giant has acquired Atlanta's Buckhead Theatre, according to various reports.
More so, Liva Nation’s Phoenix functionalities were heavily emphasized on the settings of Comerica Theatre and Ak-Chin Pavilion.
“Tapping more deeply into Phoenix is the next logical move for us. It is a vibrant music market, which we’ve enjoyed with Comerica Theatre. What a great opportunity to build a new state-of-the-art club while partnering with the area’s pre-eminent independent operator," President of House of Blues Entertainment, Ron Bension, explained in reports. “Charlie and his team have done a great job establishing Crescent Ballroom as the premier room in Phoenix with performers like Twenty One Pilots, Walk the Moon, Cafe Tacuba, Neutral Milk Hotel, Macy Gray, Modest Mouse, Tig Notaro, Jimmy Eat World and Henry Rollins. We’re excited to be collaborating with him to create another amazing experience for both fans and artists.”
The Van Buren is expected to be opened at the later periods of this year’s August. It is estimated at 20,000 square foot and has the capacity of 1,800 individuals.
The only indicates that the Live Nation can reserve more friendly appearances at The Van Buren than they can at Comerica, which clenches about 5,000 individuals at max.
"I’ve known those guys since I was a teenager. Terry Burke is president of the Phoenix office, and a great guy, and one of the reasons I wanted to do this partnership is so we could work more closely with them and the corporate office in L.A. so we can bring in bigger and more diverse shows to The Van Buren," Levy told reports. "I think we do a great job at Stateside, we bring great music, but working with Live Nation is gonna expand that tenfold. So really we plan to work with these guys in all aspects, not only in booking, but also best practices and operations, and really learn from them and use their resources."
This is the most modern in Levy's grind to brand a business district Phoenix as a music and entertainment terminus. Formerly this year, New York-based Superfly, which is accountable for music commemorations such as the Bonnaroo and Outside Lands publicized that they would be transporting the Lost Lake music jubilee to Phoenix, moderately acknowledged to Levy's work.
"Charlie has been a complete and total game changer for Phoenix in terms of making it the center of live music for Arizona," Greg Stanton, Mayor of Phoenix explained in reports. "Before him we weren’t and now we are. He’s by far the biggest single factor in terms of making it a great live music scene."
Live Nation is currently on a bullish trend as indicated in the chart above. It recently opened at 34.85 to finish at 35.25 with having no lows – a 0.40% growth generally.
Its RSI Level is also mirroring a similar performance as its candle sticks. It is currently around the 50’s region and it is expected to reach 60’s soon. More so, the Coppock curve of Live Nation is also performing higher. It is rebounding upwards but still remained at -2.25. A hold on buy position would be recommended for now.
