Losses in Multi Investment, Transport, and Building & Construction sectors dragged Saudi Arabia stocks downwards at the close of trade on Wednesday. Tadawul All Share dipped 0.78 percent.
The declining stocks outnumbered the surging ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchanged by 129 to 30 and 9 ended the same.
Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance was named one of the top players of the session on the Tadawul All Share, escalating 10.04 percent or around 1.25 points to trade at 13.70 at the close on Wednesday. Another one, Gulf General Cooperative Insurance climbed 5.14 percent or 0.85 points to end at 17.40. Al-Tayyar Travel Group Holding Co. rose 4.62 percent or 1.90 pints to 43.00.
Meanwhile, those who performed poorly in the session were Jazan Development Co., dipping 5.20 percent or 0.70 points to trade at 12.75 at the close of the trade. Knowledge Economic City fell 5.08 percent or 0.75 points to end at 14.00, while Aseer Trading Tourism & Manufacturing declined 5.00 percent or 1.10 points to 20.90.
In commodities trading, crude oil for June delivery inched upwards 1.70 percent or 0.74 to $44.39 per barrel, and Brent oil for July delivery was up 1.53 percent or 0.69 to $45.66 a barrel.
June Gold contract dropped 0.40 percent or 5.15 to trade at $1286.65 per troy ounce.
Meanwhile, EUR/SAR fell 0.04 percent to 4.3096. USD/SAR, on the other hand, climbed 0.01 percent to 3.7504. The U.S. Dollar Index rose 0.13 percent at 93.14.
