The multinational retailing corporation is looking to put immense effort into their coming Black Friday sales. The retailer is looking to top their 2016 holiday season performance and they are still going to top the charts and overtaking its close competitors such as Target.

According to the retailing company, their Black Friday store hours are looking to get either a revamp or an upgrade, and reports are also hinting that the company is putting the immense focus on the online market and deals that they are going to roll out.

The retailer is also looking to eliminate the whole wristband royalty when looking to purchase big ticket items and exclusive deals. As homage from last year’s online deals and its extremely upbeat and positive performance, the online sales from the company’s website will strictly start the Black Friday sale at 12:01 a.m. ET on turkey day.

Wal-Mart’s Plan

According to one of the biggest retailer in the world, they will include a feature color-coded section for the vast divergent of products and categories that they will offer on the coming Black Friday sales. We can expect a big array of great deals from toys, electronics, apparel and more items both on their online store and their physical stores.

We can also expect some specific deals such as the Acer Aspire laptop, Sky Rider Falcon drones, and even Kingsford charcoal grill. This year will also mark the third consecutive year that the retailer is offering the bulk of their products on their web store; this is a great development as consumers continue to split into two categories, online shoppers, and physical store goers.

According to Wal-Mart’s chief merchandising officer, Steve Bratspies, “We know the categories and items customers are looking for, have focused our assortment on those top items, pricing them so we cannot be beaten and buying deep to ensure more availability,” he also said that “Customers also want to ensure that when they venture out on Black Friday, they can find the deal that they’re after. The items need to be available in the stores,”

Other retailers such as Kohl and Amazon’ have already started to tempt and excite their consumers as they also unveil products and promos that they will host on the holidays. On the other hand, Best Buy is looking to start its Black Friday Deals earlier than most of its competitors.

The holiday season is a huge deal for these mega-retailers; they take the season very seriously as previous fiscal years have proven that the holiday season is so huge it can account to a total of 40% in terms of the retailer's annual sales.
